Refund Policy

1. General Policy – No Automatic Refunds

All sales made by Archiater Studio Sdn Bhd are final.

Refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are not guaranteed and are granted strictly at the sole and absolute discretion of the Company, subject to the terms set out below.

We reserve the right to reject any refund request that does not meet our eligibility criteria, without obligation to provide justification beyond what is required by applicable law.

2. Digital Products (eBooks, PDFs, Downloadable Content)

2.1 No Refunds Once Access Is Granted

All digital products, including but not limited to:

• eBooks
• PDFs
• Digital publications
• Downloadable or online-access materials

are strictly non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-exchangeable once:

• Payment has been successfully processed; and
• Access, download, or delivery has been granted.

This applies regardless of whether the digital product has been downloaded, accessed, opened, or used.

2.2 Waiver of Cooling-Off Rights

By completing a purchase of digital content, you expressly acknowledge and consent that:

• Delivery of digital content begins immediately upon payment; and
• You waive any statutory cooling-off period, where permitted by law.

3. Physical Books

3.1 No Refunds for Change of Mind

Refunds will not be provided for:

• Change of mind
• Incorrect selection by the customer
• Dissatisfaction with content, writing style, opinions, or subject matter
• Minor printing or aesthetic variations that do not affect usability

3.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios (Limited)

A refund may be considered only if:

• The book received is materially defective; or
• The book delivered is substantially different from what was ordered.

All such claims must:

• Be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery; and
• Include clear photographic evidence of the defect or error.

3.3 Condition of Returned Items

Where a return is authorised:

• The item must be unused, unmarked, and in original condition
• All original packaging must be intact
• Return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer, unless otherwise determined by us

We reserve the right to reject returned items that do not meet these conditions.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances (Absolute)

Refunds will not be issued under any of the following circumstances:

• Failure or refusal to read product descriptions before purchase
• Incompatibility with devices, software, or reader applications
• Delays caused by courier services beyond our control
• Loss, theft, or damage after delivery
• Claims made after the stipulated claim period
• Suspected abuse of refund requests or fraudulent behaviour

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers are strongly encouraged to contact us first before initiating any chargeback or dispute.

We reserve the right to:

• Contest any chargeback deemed invalid or abusive
• Suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in chargeback abuse
• Share transaction evidence with payment processors, banks, and authorities

6. Refund Processing (If Approved)

Where a refund is approved:

• Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
• Processing time may take 7–30 business days, depending on the payment provider
• Any non-refundable transaction fees charged by payment gateways may be deducted from the refund amount

7. Right to Amend Policy

Archiater Studio Sdn Bhd reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

The version in effect at the time of purchase shall apply.

8. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
